父亲焦金安出生在新中国成立的第三年，经历了建国后农村改变的每一步，从大集体到包产到户又到农民工进城打工，下过煤窑，在建筑工地干过小工，也在养老院做过护工。六十岁之后，父亲无法再外面谋生，返回老家重新务农生活，闲来无事开始绘画。他年轻时喜欢美术，但是没有接受过专业的训练，老来安闲，他借此记录自己的生平。

My father, Jiao Jin 'an, was born in the third year after the founding of the People's Republic of China. He experienced every step of rural change after the founding of the People's Republic of China, from large collective to household contract to migrant workers working in cities, working in coal mines, working in construction sites, and working as a nurse in nursing homes. After the age of 60, my father could no longer make a living outside, so he returned to his hometown to farm again, and began to paint in his spare time. When he was young, he liked art, but he did not receive professional training, and he used it to record his life.
